What We Do


We act for tenants and landlords. We understand the importance of a properly negotiated and prepared lease which gives legal certainty and commercial protection to all the parties. For the tenant a leased property is not just a tenancy but their livelihood. For many landlords it is their income, whether it is held in their own names, a company or their superannuation fund.

We negotiate and prepare leases and associated documents, such as Disclosure Statements and licence agreements, for retail, commercial, industrial and warehouse premises. Our landlord clients range from those with one investment property to major property holdings. Some of our landlord clients are owners of specialist centres where they are the anchor tenant and rent to allied professionals.

Our tenant clients lease properties in all the States and Territories of Australia. Many of them provide a specific service in shopping centres and local shops across Australia.

We have knowledge of leasing across the whole of Australia, for both landlords and tenants.

As well as negotiating and finalising leases we represent our clients in all leasing disputes, whether it is a landlord evicting a tenant or a tenant seeking re-entry.

We know our clients and their business and what is important them. It is not just a solicitor and client relationship but one of understanding and trust.
