What We Do

Commercial and Business Law

Proprietary limited companies and small businesses are the backbone of our economy. They are family businesses, income earners, employers, innovators, investors, importers and exporters. Our commercial law clients include sole trades, partnerships, franchisors, franchisees, small and medium sized companies with many employees. They conduct business across many industries and sectors, in Victoria and overseas.

We assist with commercial, corporate and business matters. We provide clear and practical advice on a range of commercial and corporate matters. We achieve the best results for our clients, whatever their business.

We act and advise on a wide range of business and commercial matters including partnerships, joint ventures, contracts, directors’ duties, compliance with legislation and regulations, intellectual property, franchising agreements and arrangements and trade practices. We advise our clients, negotiate on their behalf, prepare the necessary documents and represent them in all the jurisdictions from Tribunals to the High Court of Australia.

Over the years we have negotiated and prepared a broad range of legal documents to give effect to arrangements between parties, including joint venture agreements, share sale agreements, management agreements, partnership agreements, loan agreements and supporting documents and various licences and trusts deeds. We have also successfully applied for trade marks for our clients.

Our commercial clients are local and overseas. They are involved in many industries and areas of business and range from small businesses operating in Victoria to middle sized ones which operate across Australia and overseas employing dozens of employees. Regardless of the size of the business each of our clients is equally important to us and we take the time to know each one of them.
