Buying and Selling Properties - Conveyancing
01
Selling or buying a property is the most significant financial transaction a person will make in their life. We have experience in residential, retirement, aged care, deceased estates, commercial and industrial sales and purchases. We look after all sales and purchases, whether an existing property or off the plan. Our clients are local and overseas, home buyers and investors. We act for individual vendors and purchasers as well as property developers, joint venturers, self-managed superannuation funds, trusts and deceased estates.
At Boon Legal, we are with you every step of the conveyancing process. We take the worry and hassle out of buying or selling a property and will work closely with real estate agents, the other party and their representatives and mortgagees to finalise your sale or purchase.
Our services include advice on and preparation of contracts of sale and Sections 32, licence agreements and a range of ancillary documents that may be required such as powers of attorney, mortgages, loans, caveats and licences.
We make sure our clients understand what they are buying and ensure they understand the effect of covenants or easements on a property. We also explain the different ways of holding property, whether as joint tenants and tenants in common and the consequences if a person wants to leave the property under their will.
We provide our clients with fixed price conveyancing.
Boon Legal has been a PEXA member from the beginning. We do not outsource any step of the conveyancing process to third parties. This means that we look after every transaction and know every detail of your matter and can answer your questions. During your sale or purchase, you will deal directly with the person looking after your matter.
Buying properties with others – documents to protect you
People buy properties with friends and family members. They rarely turn their mind to what happens if things go wrong, one of the parties wants to sell or end the arrangement.
Regardless of the relationships buying a property is a business transaction and a significant financial investment. We advise and prepare documents to make sure all the parties are protected.
We also advise on and prepare deeds of family arrangements between family members to deal with the many different agreements.
